Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team at NAPA Auto Parts Fort McMurray. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR-related tasks, including recruitment, staffing, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
- Collect and screen applicants, advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, and review candidate inventories.
- Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, notify applicants of results of selection process, and prepare job offers.
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
- Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties, recruit and hire staff, prepare budgets and payrolls, and arrange schedules.
- Oversee payroll administration, including automatic data processing (ADP), MS Windows, human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Internet.
- College/CEGEP diploma and 3-5 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in MS Office, human resources software, and ADP.
- Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
