Job Summary:

Finnings is seeking a Technical Service Representative to join our team. As a Technical Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers, including scheduling visits, setting agendas, and writing monthly reports on customer updates.
  • Liaise with the Finning Parts Department to ensure the necessary parts are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Minimize downtime and maintain production requirements as scheduled, sending technical analysis to customers and providing recommended service options.
  • Based on technical audits and analysis reports, make recommendations to customers on components that need to be changed.
  • Develop and maintain open lines of communication with all supportive departments.
  • Respond promptly to inoperable customer machines, supporting the timely restoration of machine function.

Requirements:

  • Seasoned HET/Millwright/P.Eng with significant mechanical experience and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a customer service role.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, including verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Mining background and mechanical aptitude are considered assets.
  • Ability to work in other regions occasionally when workload dictates.
  • Ability to stay in camp on customer site when required.
  • Driver's abstract required.
