Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Representative to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate customer visits, set agendas, and provide regular updates on customer progress.
  • Collaborate with the Finning Parts Department to ensure timely delivery of necessary parts to our customers.
  • Minimize downtime and maintain production requirements by providing technical analysis and recommended service options to customers.
  • Develop and maintain open lines of communication with all supportive departments to ensure seamless customer support.
  • Respond promptly to inoperable customer machines, supporting the timely restoration of machine function.

Requirements:

  • Seasoned HET/Millwright/P.Eng with significant mechanical experience and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a customer service role.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, including verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Mining background and mechanical aptitude are considered assets.
  • Ability to work in other regions occasionally and stay in camp on customer sites when required.
  • Must be able to work from heights and outside for extended periods.
  • Ability to gain access to mine sites.

Driver's Abstract: This offer is contingent on a satisfactory review of your driver's abstract, which can be obtained at any local registry branch. You are required to maintain a valid driver's license at all times and agree to provide an annual driver's abstract.
