Customer Service Administrator

At Empire Life, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our advisors and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Respond to queries and requests for information from customers by phone, email, and in-person
  • Support Reception/Front Desk activities
  • Prioritize workload based on importance and time sensitivity
  • Contact insurance carriers daily
  • Provide prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and accurate customer service to advisors
  • Update and maintain systems
  • Adjudicate inforce inquiries
  • Adhere to Anti Money Laundering, Fintrac, Privacy, and Empire Life compliance policies and procedures
  • Continuous improvement of product knowledge
  • Learn how other departments function and impact the customer service role

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience (2 years minimum)
  • Knowledge of insurance industry (preferred 2+ years)
  • System expertise - Wealthserv, SharePoint, Microsoft suite
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or within a team, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks or projects
  • Ability to research, analyze, evaluate, integrate ideas, and problem-solve
