Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager - BreastCheck, the incumbent will be responsible for providing and performing quality service to the clients of BreastCheck at the Winnipeg and Mobile Screening clinics, in an effective, efficient, and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and perform quality service to clients at Winnipeg and Mobile Screening clinics.
  • Work effectively, efficiently, and safely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mammography and breast imaging technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiological Technology education program.
  • Successful completion of Breast Imaging 1 and Breast Imaging 2 CAMRT courses.
  • Member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - Manitoba (CAMRT-MB).
  • Compliant with Canadian Association of Radiology (CAR) continuing education requirements for Mammography Technologists.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in working in a Digital Imaging department using RIS, PACS, and EMR systems.
  • Valid Manitoba Driver's License and current Driver's Abstract.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings, and travel to communities across Manitoba.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good physical health to meet the requirements of the position.
  • Satisfactory employment record.
  • Ability to legally work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous mammography experience.
Assets
  • Knowledge of Population Health and Screening Programs.
  • Experience using Maxon BSP and PenRad.
  • Ability to speak French.
