About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our BreastCheck program, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography services to our clients in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammography procedures using digital imaging equipment
  • Ensure accurate and precise imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Radiological Technology education program
  • Successful completion of Breast Imaging 1 and Breast Imaging 2 CAMRT courses
  • Member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - Manitoba (CAMRT-MB)
  • Compliant with Canadian Association of Radiology (CAR) continuing education requirements for Mammography Technologists
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in working in a Digital Imaging department using RIS, PACS, and EMR systems
  • Valid Manitoba Driver's License and current Driver's Abstract
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings, and travel to communities across Manitoba

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous mammography experience
  • Knowledge of Population Health and Screening Programs
  • Experience using Maxon BSP and PenRad
