We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc. as a Bookkeeper.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as manage benefits and other employee-related expenses.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the company.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced office environment with a team-oriented culture.
- Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and data entry.
