We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Cooperman Chapman Chartered Accountants Professional Corporation.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in Caseware/Caseview, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and Quick Books.
- Security and Safety: Bondable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation and public transportation is available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
