Occupational Therapist II, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist II to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and MotherBaby Care Program at BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop treatment programs for clients/patients in the NICU and MotherBaby Care Program.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Document information and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with clients/patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in professional development and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
- Two years of recent related experience, including one year in pediatrics or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- 50 hours of post-graduate coursework/training related to additional procedures, techniques, and job functions for assigned area.
