Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist II to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and MotherBaby Care Program at BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop treatment programs for clients/patients in the NICU and MotherBaby Care Program.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Document information and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients/patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in professional development and education to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
  • Two years of recent related experience, including one year in pediatrics or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • 50 hours of post-graduate coursework/training related to additional procedures, techniques, and job functions for assigned area.
