Occupational Therapist II, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Specialist

BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients in the NICU, using advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and functional ability.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
- Two years of recent related experience, including one year in pediatrics or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- 50 hours of post-graduate coursework or training related to additional procedures, techniques, and job functions for the assigned area.
