Job Title: Physiotherapist II, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist II to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in the NICU.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based physiotherapy programs.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on physiotherapy techniques and best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to physiotherapy care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and organizations to support patient care and education.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate degree in Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation Sciences and/or licensure with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
  • Two years of recent related experience, including one year working with the designated patient population within BC Children's Hospital or BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 50 hours of postgraduate course work/training related to additional procedures, techniques, or job functions for assigned area.
