Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Administrator to join our Philanthropic Services team at The Royal Trust Company. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the administration of charitable public foundations and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with investment advisors, associates, donors, and charitable organizations to process requests related to charitable gift funds and public foundation administration.
  • Process gifts of cash and securities in compliance with policies and procedures and grant disbursement requests.
  • Prepare follow-up documentation pending processing charitable gift transactions, grant requests, and ongoing fund administration management.
  • Assist in the collection, facilitation, and coordination of information and documentation to ensure foundation operations and charitable gift fund administration are carried out in accordance with program documents, relevant legislation, client needs, company policy, and department objectives.
  • Leverage technology to maximize efficiencies and ensure all files are appropriately documented.
  • Ensure client expectations are met through respecting key deliverables and timelines.
  • Perform other office, clerical, and support duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of related estate & trust, charitable foundation, and general administration processing experience preferred.
  • University Degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and within deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Client servicing or donor servicing experience, preferably within a financial services institution or charitable organization.
