About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team at HelloFresh. As a Quality Control Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality control inspections on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse team to achieve quality targets and resolve any quality issues that may arise.
  • Respond to quality and/or BBD issues on the production lines and communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve any product non-conformances.
  • Lead production associates for ingredient sorting and ensure accuracy and efficiency at designated ship-out stations.
  • Perform quality control inspections on work-in-progress and finished products to ensure they meet our company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S acts and regulations and report any workplace hazards or dangers to the supervisor or employer.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Biological, Chemical, or Food Sciences diploma.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience working in QC/QA in a food processing, manufacturing, or service industry.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Understanding of the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations and GFSI schemes.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Google Apps, and comfortable learning new technologies.
  • Ability to prioritize, remain calm, and alert while multitasking in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
