As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality and safety standards. Your contributions will help us deliver exceptional baked goods to customers across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment prior to production.
  • Oversee the mixing and production processes, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Perform allergen checks in accordance with HACCP protocols.
  • Participate in both internal and external quality audits.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products, reporting any discrepancies to the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Engage in sanitation inspections to maintain a clean production environment.
  • Monitor chemical percentages and critical control points.
  • Enforce allergen flow protocols.
  • Maintain retain samples and coordinate third-party lab testing.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations of all mixed batches.
  • Check temperatures in coolers and freezers, ensuring optimal conditions.
  • Update temperature charts on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure that production paperwork is completed accurately by line employees.
  • Verify that raw and finished products adhere to all specifications, including weight and packaging details.
  • Identify and segregate non-compliant products for quality control holds.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Exhibit a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts (8-10 hours) with flexibility for overtime.
  • Reliable transportation is recommended.
