About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloth Sorter to join our team at 2434102 ONTARIO INC. as a Quality Control Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for examining fabric or products for conformity to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine fabric or products for conformity to quality standards, ensuring that they meet our high standards.
  • Grade products based on their quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Inspect and grade hides, pelts, or leather to ensure they meet our quality requirements.
  • Inspect finished and pre-finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Mark defects and record information on products inspected or graded.
  • Measure or weigh products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Package products for shipping or storage.
  • Prepare samples for quality control purposes.
  • Record information on products inspected or graded, including any defects or issues.
  • Repair minor defects to ensure products meet our quality standards.
  • Sort products by style, color, size, length, or other criteria to ensure efficient processing.
  • Trim excess material, remove spots, and lint to ensure products meet our quality standards.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 35 hours per week of work.
