About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Textile Grader to join our team at J & A International Inc. as a Quality Control Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for examining fabric or products for conformity to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and grade hides, pelts or leather to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Examine finished and pre-finished products to identify any defects or irregularities.
  • Mark defects and record information on products inspected or graded.
  • Package products and prepare samples for quality control checks.
  • Sort products by style, colour, size, length or other criteria to ensure efficient production.
  • Trim excess material, remove spots and lint to maintain product quality.
Work Environment

As a Textile Grader, you will work in a fast-paced clothing/textile manufacturing company environment. You will be exposed to dusty and noisy conditions, but you will be rewarded with a challenging and rewarding role that contributes to the success of our company.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or irregularities.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
