Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at MAPLE Convenience store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and develop a team of sales workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
- Assign Duties and Tasks: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to ensure seamless store operations and maximize productivity.
- Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, interview, and train new employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service, promote products, and meet sales targets.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve supply chain issues, and maintain a positive store environment.
- Organize Inventory: Manage stock levels, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure efficient stockroom operations.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: Oversee the work of office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail management experience.
- Work Environment: Non-smoking, air-conditioned store environment.
- Work Setting: Vape shop, retail business.
- Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract).
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, walking, sitting, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, dependability, initiative.
- Free Parking: Available on site.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 33 hours per week.
