Aviation NDT Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation NDT Operations Manager to join our team at Voyageur Aviation Corp.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the NDT division, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with industry codes and regulations.

Our headquarters are located in North Bay, Ontario, and we are a wholly owned subsidiary of Chorus Aviation Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Coordinate and organize resources to ensure outstanding work is completed in the required timeframe.
- Staff Management: Provide direction, mentorship, and training to staff.
- Customer Liaison: Work with customers to ensure repairs are planned and scheduled to meet expectations.
- Vendor Management: Work with vendors to ensure repairs and supplies meet expectations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure quality procedures and policies are being followed to ensure a safe workplace and airworthy product.
- CGSB Level 2 certification in NDT methods, Eddy Current Testing (ET), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) are required.
- National Aerospace Standard (NAS) 410 Level 2 qualifications will be considered.
- Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) Level 2 certification in NDT methods (Ultrasonic Testing (UT)) is an asset.
- Excellent level technical knowledge and understanding of NDT techniques, services, and procedures.
- Good financial management, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
- Advance level skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
