Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The NDT Assistant Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the NDT division, ensuring staff are setting up and calibrating equipment, performing non-destructive tests, conducting evaluations of testing and/or inspections, and maintaining results in compliance with legislated industry codes, standards, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will coordinate resources to ensure outstanding work is completed in the required time frame, provide direction, mentorship, and training to staff, ensure quality procedures and policies are being followed to ensure a safe workplace and airworthy product, and perform quality checks and audits to ensure processes are followed and work is being completed within expected parameters.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) Level 2 certification in NDT methods, Eddy Current Testing (ET), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
  • National Aerospace Standard (NAS) 410 Level 2 qualifications considered an asset
  • Excellent level technical knowledge and understanding of NDT techniques, services and procedures
  • Excellent level understanding of NDT industry codes, regulations and practices
  • Clear understanding of technical understanding of Aircraft Component Maintenance programs
  • Good financial management, budgeting, and vendor management skills
