We are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to customers with unique aviation requirements at Voyageur Aviation Corp.

As a key member of the Accessory Shop NDT Division, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the NDT division.

This includes ensuring NDT staff are setting up and calibrating equipment, performing non-destructive tests, conducting evaluations of testing and/or inspections, and maintaining results in compliance with legislated industry codes, standards, and procedures.

Coordinate and organize resources to ensure outstanding work will be completed in the required time frame.

Provide direction, mentorship, and training to staff.

Ensure quality procedures and policies are being followed to ensure a safe workplace and airworthy product.

Provide Quality checks and audits to ensure process are followed and work is being completed within the expected parameters.

Complete, evaluate, and examine the financial reporting, estimates and invoicing of the NDT Shop.

Actively participate in Voyageur's Safety Management System including reporting hazards and incidents encountered during daily operations.

Communicate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders about test results, work priorities, repair requirements, and progress of projects.

Set up and calibrate equipment to conduct non-destructive tests according to the material type, thickness, distance from test equipment, and other related variables, while using standard formulas.

Conduct tests on parts, structures, and other materials using non-destructive techniques ensuring all established procedures are followed.

Maintain all NDT equipment by conducting systems performance checks in accordance with manufacturer and industry recommendations.

A successful candidate should have excellent level technical knowledge and understanding of NDT techniques, services and procedures.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent level understanding of NDT industry codes, regulations and practices.

You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.
