About the Role

Forvis Mazars, a leading global audit and advisory network, is seeking a Tax Intern to join our team in Canada. As a Tax Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in taxation and develop a deep understanding of tax practices and current legislation.

This role is ideal for students or recent graduates passionate about taxation and eager to develop their skills in a dynamic and professional environment. You will work closely with seasoned experts, offering quality mentorship and continuous learning opportunities.

Your Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preparation and review of tax returns and other forms for corporations, individuals, and trusts.
  • Prepare tax analyses and reports.
  • Conduct tax research using various tools.
  • Assist in and participate in technical meetings and discussions.
Requirements
  • Completed first year of a bachelor's degree in law or accounting.
  • Taken a course in taxation (an asset).
  • Availability to work 5 days a week in the office, promoting learning and integration.
