Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive advice on **tax planning opportunities**, **tax minimization strategies**, and compliance matters.
  • Deliver industry-specific and technical knowledge related to intricate tax and assurance challenges through direct client engagement, detailed reports, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Assist organizations in identifying the most advantageous corporate structure from a tax standpoint, including conducting due diligence for potential acquisitions.
  • Review and analyze domestic and international federal and multi-state corporate/partnership information returns.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met while fostering growth in relationships and accounts.
  • Oversee engagement planning, scheduling, and project financials, including budgets and timely billing.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control and apply specialized knowledge to foresee and address issues pertinent to clients' financial operations.
  • Engage with the local business community to explore business development opportunities and contribute to competitive proposal preparations.
  • Mentor and coach team members, promoting their professional and personal growth through clear expectations and constructive feedback.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in **corporate taxation** or law, with membership in the Bar considered an asset.
  • Approximately 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in public accounting or tax consulting.
  • A solid understanding of business principles, accounting practices, and management development.
  • Working knowledge of **transfer pricing** tax concepts.
  • Demonstrated skills in people management, relationship building, and leadership.
