Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Engage in corporate tax restructuring associated with business acquisitions across Canada, the United States, and globally.
  • Provide support to the Accounting and Finance departments, along with management, on various tax-related issues including transfer pricing, sales tax, corporate taxation, and international tax agreements.
  • Conduct thorough audits and evaluations concerning international tax submissions.
  • Assist in the assessment of future tax obligations related to acquisition pricing and annual tax provisions.
  • Prepare yearly tax filings for Canadian and American corporate entities.
  • Collaborate on tax strategies and decisions in Canada, the United States, and on an international scale.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting.
  • Experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
  • Master's degree in Taxation or completion of CPA tax program is advantageous.
  • Exceptional adaptability and attention to detail.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Business insight and acumen.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication with clients and partners outside of Quebec.
