About the Role:
Aspire Software is seeking a highly skilled Director of Taxation to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing all aspects of the tax function within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Tax Strategies: You will be responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies that align with the company's financial objectives and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Ensure Compliance: You will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of all required tax returns, such as income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax.
- Manage Tax Provisions: You will oversee the preparation of accurate and timely tax provisions, including deferred tax calculations and financial statement disclosures.
- Identify and Mitigate Tax Risks: You will identify and assess potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Support Tax Audits: You will support the company during tax audits and examinations, interacting with external auditors and tax authorities.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making.
Requirements:
