Workplace Violence Prevention Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Workplace Violence Prevention Professional to join our team at Vancouver Coastal Health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and administering the Workplace Violence Prevention Program, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating Violence Risk Assessments and collaborating with the Workplace Health team
- Ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
- Developing and implementing safety protocols and procedures
- Providing training and education to staff on Workplace Violence Prevention
- Monitoring performance and implementing action plans to address areas of concern
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, with 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
Key qualifications include:
- Specialized knowledge of Workplace Violence Prevention best practices
- Strong communication and engagement skills
- Ability to interpret information and make sound judgments
- Experience with project management principles
