Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety OfficerWe are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Officer to join our team.
SalaryAn estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week with benefits including dental plan, health care plan, vision care benefits, gasoline paid, pension plan, learning/training paid by employer, team building opportunities, wellness program.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide training to employers, employees, and the general public
- Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards
- Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses
- Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in occupational health and safety
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
