About the Role

**Reporting to the Vice President, Finance**

The AVP People & Culture is accountable for leading the organization to achieve its strategic priorities through its innovative culture and people. This position is integral to organizational success and supports the mission, vision, and goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement focused and effective strategies and initiatives that elevate the employee experience and drive high performance.
  • Foster a healthy and supportive environment that values learning and development.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President, Finance, the Chief Executive Officer, and the Senior Leadership Team to drive organizational success.
  • Lead by example and embody the organization's values, including reconciliation and decolonization, equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR strategies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
