About the Role

As the Executive Director, Human Resources and Culture, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic priorities of Alberta Innovates through its innovative culture and people. Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, you will be accountable for leading the organization to achieve its mission, vision, and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement focused and effective strategies and initiatives that elevate the employee experience and drive high performance.
  • Foster a healthy and supportive environment that values learning and development.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President, Finance, the Chief Executive Officer, and the Senior Leadership Team to drive organizational success.
  • Lead by example, embodying the organization's values and promoting a culture of reconciliation and decolonization, equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
Requirements

We are seeking a visionary and impactful leader with broad organizational experience and a strong track record of strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will be a role model for Alberta Innovates' values and will have a deep understanding of the importance of creating a healthy and supportive work environment.
