About the Role:
As the Associate Vice President, People and Culture at Alberta Innovates, you will play a critical role in driving the organization's strategic priorities through its innovative culture and people. Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, you will be accountable for leading the organization to achieve its goals by developing and implementing focused and effective strategies and initiatives that elevate the employee experience and drive high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to foster a healthy and supportive environment that values learning and development.
- Lead the organization in achieving its strategic priorities through its innovative culture and people.
- Collaborate with the Vice President, Finance, the Chief Executive Officer, and the Senior Leadership Team to drive organizational success.
- Develop and implement focused and effective strategies and initiatives that elevate the employee experience and drive high performance.
Requirements:
- Senior Human Resources leader with strategic thinking and broad organizational experience.
- Visionary and impactful leader committed to reconciliation and decolonization, equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
- Role model for Alberta Innovates' values and lead by example.
