Job Title: Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at Burger King Restaurants. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Basic security clearance required.
