Structural Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Welder to work with our team in Halifax, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and repair.
- Perform welding operations using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
- Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure efficient production.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion and meet deadlines.
- Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship with a focus on metal fabrication and repair.
- Certification in welding techniques, such as AWS or CWB.
- Previous experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control to ensure accurate and safe work practices.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a focus on safety and ergonomics.
