About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Master Bridge Designer to work closely with our customers on significant infrastructure projects across North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridge design and project management, with excellent technical expertise and leadership skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and developing engineering projects, including inspections, evaluations, rehabilitations, and designs of bridge structures. You will also supervise and coordinate teams of engineers and technicians, review their work, and mentor junior staff towards their professional development.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with at least 10 years of related industry experience in bridge design and project management. They will also be registered as a Professional Engineer in Nova Scotia or be able to obtain registration within 12 months of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing engineering projects, including bridge design and construction
  • Supervising and coordinating teams of engineers and technicians
  • Mentoring junior staff and promoting their professional development
  • Liaising with clients and other professionals as needed

In addition to a competitive salary, our Master Bridge Designer can expect to earn a minimum annual salary of $120,000 CAD, based on their qualifications and experience. However, this figure may vary depending on individual circumstances.
