Senior Business Analyst Job Description

S.i. Systèmes is seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to support the design phase of an organizational transformation project.

  • Collaborate with organization lines of business to outline new requirements and document alternatives for options analysis.
  • Support options analysis, review, and decision-making.
  • Develop requirements documents for chosen alternatives using business requirements templates or User Stories in an Agile Environment.
  • Conduct business analysis of functional and systems requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows.
  • Evaluate existing business systems and identify items like business rules logic, customizations, data element definitions, and downstream impact analysis.
  • Map current state to future, including gap analysis.
  • Analyze, define, document, and implement new business rules.
  • Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within internal business systems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems.
  • Work with IT Division to translate business requirements to system requirements.
  • Support agile delivery user story creation, backlog refinement, and estimation of user stories with Product Managers, Delivery Leads, and Product Owners.
  • Establish acceptance test criteria with client support using Agile and Hybrid Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years experience as a Business Analyst supporting SDLC/system transformation projects with agile methodology.
  • Experience working in Bank, Finance, or insurance industry/systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Business Analysis certification.
  • Bilingual - French and English.
