Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Piros Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Culinary Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials that showcase our restaurant's unique flavors and cuisine.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our menu demands.
- Team Development: Provide training and guidance to our kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation is required.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
