Key Responsibilities
- Assist with financial record-keeping and payroll functions for Indigenous clients.
- Prepare payroll and government remittances, record financial transactions, and assist with budget planning.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, identify and resolve discrepancies, and communicate with government agencies.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality services.
Required Skills and Experience
- Accounting certificate or degree in commerce or business administration.
- Minimum two years of bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with accounting system implementations and cloud applications.
- Experience working with Indigenous clients is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and cloud-based platforms.
