About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at CL Chartered Professional Accountant Ltd. as a key member of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as manage benefits and other employee-related expenses.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Office.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, organized, reliable, and a team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Our office is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent service to our clients.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
