Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Staff to join our team at Gislason Targownik Peters. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process compilation, review, and audit engagements in a timely and organized manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with income tax laws and regulations.
  • Oversee bookkeeping and support tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage client relationships and address any issues promptly.
  • Mentor junior staff members in all aspects of the engagement process.
  • Ensure professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in all tasks and communications.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development in core and related subject matter.
  • Contribute to the communities in which we live and work.
Requirements
  • CPA designation or nearing completion of designation.
  • Experience with Caseware, Tax Prep, Quickbooks, and Sage Accounting.
  • Minimum 4 years public accounting experience, with 2 years in a manager role preferred.
  • High computer literacy.
  • Solid understanding of income tax and sales taxes.
