Job Summary:

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing payroll, benefits, and time-off processes, as well as providing support for employee relations and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll and benefits processes, including payroll input, close operations, and payroll register reviews.
  • Administer and maintain the UKG Dimensions time and attendance system and related attendance management policies.
  • Provide system training and guidance to management, supervisors, and employees on best practices and interpretation of company policies and procedures.
  • Process HR, payroll, and group insurance benefits in Workday, including enrolments, changes, and terminations.
  • Handle and resolve all inquiries arising from questions about payroll, vacations, group insurance benefits, and RRSPs.
  • Manage onboarding and orientation for new employees across 24-7 shifts.
  • Create and maintain employee and HR files, collecting information as required.
  • Assist in the administration of employee relations matters on a day-to-day basis.
  • Assist in social compliance and food safety audit preparation and audits.
  • Issue ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Perform assigned HR tasks and duties in support of the HR functional area.

Requirements:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in an HR-related field and a working knowledge of HR-related legislation.
  • Two – five years related work experience in Human Resources/Payroll.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of payroll and time & attendance systems, including Workday and UKG Dimensions.
  • Demonstrated experience with HRIS systems, social compliance, and food safety audit administration.
  • Experience with group benefits administration.
  • Demonstrated experience onboarding new employees.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills combined with the capability to interact effectively with employees, other departments, and the corporate group.
  • Ability to work effectively in a change-filled environment and to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
