Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Tree House Foods Inc. as a Human Resources Specialist - Talent Development. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies and programs, as well as training staff, advising managers, and overseeing payroll administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Advise managers and employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive work environment and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Administer employee benefits and other human resources programs to ensure they are fair, equitable, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement training and development strategies to enhance staff performance and skills.
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices to ensure we remain competitive and compliant.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate human resources metrics and insights to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure we have the right talent and skills to drive business success.
  • Oversee payroll administration to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payment of wages and benefits.


Requirements:

  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
  • Work setting: Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Proficiency in Workday, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Personal suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, team player, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, values and ethics, ability to multitask, and accountability.
