About the Role

The Bell Media team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of DTC Retention and CRM Performance Analytics Manager. This position will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction and implementation of end-to-end retention marketing initiatives for subscribers of Bell Media's direct-to-consumer brands and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Direction: Set the strategic direction and implementation of end-to-end retention marketing initiatives for subscribers of Bell Media's direct-to-consumer brands and services.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Work with our Business Intelligence and Subscriber Analytics teams to understand subscriber behavior and design data-driven retention campaigns and upsell tactics.
  • CRM Measurement Strategies: Define CRM measurement strategies to quantify the performance of various Performance Marketing initiatives.
  • Retention Strategy: Contribute to setting short-term retention CRM strategy and execute long-term churn mitigation strategy for the function.
  • Campaign Performance Analysis: Review campaign performance and analyze data from various sources to identify impact on subscriber activity and behaviors. Leverage data to optimize future communications and strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in Marketing, Programming, Business Intelligence, Sales, Finance, and Legal.
Critical Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or related fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in customer retention and loyalty.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and a track record of developing and implementing email marketing campaigns.
  • Communication Skills: Verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage short and long-term deadlines and balance multiple priorities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of key elements of onboarding, engagement, and retention strategies, including customer journeys, lifecycle marketing (CRM), marketing automation, and the metrics impacted.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with marketing automation technology and email marketing tools (e.g., Braze, Acoustic, etc.) and other tools/languages (e.g., HTML/CSS, etc.) an asset.
  • Executional Talents: Strong executional talents, able to multi-task and execute quickly to allow for continual iteration and problem-solving under tight deadlines.
  • Team Player: Self-motivated and a team player who will collaborate with other Bell Media teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to review creative, test campaigns, and implement legal and studio regulations across all campaigns.
  • Organization: Highly organized and able to plan and oversee campaign calendar, multiple projects, and take account of individual brand requirements of partner studios for Crave.
