Human Resources Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Market Lane Early Learning Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, assigning projects to subordinates, and coordinating the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
- Assign projects to subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations, and employee relations to promote a positive and productive work culture.
- Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals and objectives.
- Direct and control daily operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the HR department.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to promote a positive and productive work culture.
- Manage training and development strategies to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff.
- Oversee the preparation of reports to provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate the performance of staff and provide feedback for improvement.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a College/CEGEP education and experience in human resources. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
The Human Resources Coordinator will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service to staff and management. They will be required to work 30-40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
