About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Retail Design and Experience to join our team at Arc'teryx. As a key member of our Retail Design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and engaging retail experiences that bring our brand to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement global retail design strategies that align with our brand vision and values.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver retail concepts, including store layouts, fixtures, and visual merchandising.
  • Collaborate with our Brand Creative and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure consistency and cohesion across all retail channels.
  • Manage and coordinate the production of architectural drawings, specifications, and other design documents.
  • Partner with our Construction and Project Management teams to ensure timely and budget-friendly execution of retail projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform and enhance our retail design strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in global retail design, with a proven track record of delivering innovative and effective retail experiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong design and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CAD drafting, 3D rendering, and other design software.
  • LEED certification and/or a keen interest in sustainable design practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $146,000 - $182,000 CAD per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
