MagicPace is a fast-growing startup expanding across North America, seeking a driven Sales Representative to join our sales team.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year (based on location and experience)

Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious Sales Representative to close technical recruiting mandates with high-growth technology startups. As a key member of our sales team, you will work directly with our founders to craft new sales strategies and build outbound/outreach campaigns to drive new mandates. You will build relationships with founders and convert them into clients, creating inroads for referrals with other complimentary service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Pipeline Development: Build a scalable, repeatable outbound sales pipeline.
  • Network Building: Establish a network of referral sources within the startup ecosystem.
  • Customer Engagement: Understand customer objections and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Proposal and Agreement Preparation: Prepare customized proposals and close agreements.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying upselling and reselling opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with recruiters to ensure a seamless search/placement process.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions in the CRM.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in field sales, with a strong preference for candidates with experience selling directly to clients. Experience in a B2B startup or within the technology sector is a plus.
  • Cold Outbound Skills: Has demonstrated experience in cold outbound and building his/her own sequences.
  • Presentation and Negotiation Skills: Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactive problem-solving abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
