About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team at MagicPace. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for closing technical recruiting mandates with high-growth technology startups. You will work directly with our founders to craft new sales strategies and build outbound/outreach campaigns to drive new mandates.

In this role, you will build relationships with founders and convert them into clients. You'll also create inroads for referrals with other complimentary service providers. This is an entrepreneurial role that requires autonomy and strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a scalable, repeatable outbound sales pipeline.
  • Develop a network of referral sources within the startup ecosystem.
  • Understand customer objections and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Prepare customized proposals and close agreements.
  • Debrief our recruiters for each mandate, ensuring a clear understanding of the role before kicking-off.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying upselling and reselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to ensure a seamless search/placement process.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions in the CRM.

You will be expected to consistently hit your KPIs/sales quotas, demonstrating your ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in field sales, preferably with direct sales experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in cold outbound and building own sequences.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
