About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Helena Wellness Centre Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physiotherapists in assessing patients and developing treatment plans
  • Conduct thorough patient examinations to gather relevant information
  • Support physical therapists in implementing treatment programs and maintaining accurate records
  • Manage inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely ordering and restocking
  • Process patient files and paperwork efficiently, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
  • Provide administrative support, including reception, telephone, and appointment management
  • Teach and supervise patients in exercises and activities, promoting optimal recovery and well-being
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring seamless operation of our clinic
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment with 37.5 to 44 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
