Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Crystal Physio. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Health Care Professionals
You will work closely with our healthcare professionals to provide support and assistance in the delivery of patient care. This may include tasks such as preparing patients for treatment, assisting with exercises and activities, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Carry Out Treatment ProgramsYou will assist in the implementation of treatment programs, under the direction of our physiotherapists and occupational therapists. This may include tasks such as applying and adjusting casts, splints and bandages, and providing support to patients with various injuries or disabilities.
Clean and Maintain EquipmentYou will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment, as well as preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies. This may include tasks such as sterilizing equipment, restocking supplies, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
Document Patient Rehabilitation ProgressYou will be responsible for documenting patient rehabilitation progress, including tracking patient outcomes and providing feedback to our healthcare professionals. This may include tasks such as maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and providing updates to patients and their families.
Perform General Clerical DutiesYou will be responsible for performing general clerical duties, including tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records. This may include tasks such as data entry, filing, and preparing documents.
Requirements- Criminal Record Check
You will be required to undergo a criminal record check as a condition of employment.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesYou will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with repetitive tasks. You will also be required to have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to distinguish between colours. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and bend, crouch, and kneel.
Personal SuitabilityYou will be required to possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will also be required to be accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient, flexible, and organized.
