About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Alleviate Physiotherapy. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Assist physiotherapists in assessing patients to identify their rehabilitation needs.
    • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Patient Care
    • Examine patients to gather information about their condition and progress.
    • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
    • Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
  • Administrative Support
    • Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Work Environment
