Apprentice Carpenter Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team at Hardcastle Formwork Ltd. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will be responsible for assisting experienced carpenters in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of layouts and measurements to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the structural integrity of buildings.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings.
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the construction industry.
- Ability to work at heights and in noisy, dusty environments.
- Strong physical abilities, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
- Excellent judgment and reliability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
