Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at SSS Services Inc. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of wood and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials for construction and repair projects.
  • Install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices and other workers as needed.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to bend, crouch, and lift heavy loads.
