Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at SSS Services Inc. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices and other workers as needed.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is physically demanding and requires the ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
